JOHN MOWAT

Born in 1947 and raised in London, John Mowat began

his stage career in 1980 when he played his first solo.

In 1994 he became co-founder of OddBodies

Theatre Company in London. As a performer actor

and director, John Mowat has presented his highly

visual style of comedy to audiences in over 40 countries.

Since 1998, he has developed a body of work with

Companhia de Chapitô and created with them and

directed numerous plays such as Don Quixote,

The Great Creator, The Tempest, Dead Dogs Don’t Bark

and Macbeth.His work as a performer has been

described by critics:
